Fortis (FTS) Wallet, Token or Transaction Questions
Having trouble seeing Fortis (FTS) in your wallet, checking a transaction or understanding which network you're using?
Use this thread for general FTS wallet, token and transaction questions.
FTS Not Showing in Your Wallet?
If you've acquired or transferred FTS but can't see the token in your wallet, don't immediately assume the tokens are missing.
Depending on your wallet, you may need to verify:
You're viewing the correct blockchain network
The wallet supports the network used by FTS
The correct FTS token has been imported
The transaction was successfully confirmed
You're viewing the correct wallet address
Always obtain current token information from official Fortis resources rather than copying a token contract from an unknown post or message.
Having a Transaction Problem?
If you need help understanding an FTS transaction, you can describe the issue in this thread.
Useful non-sensitive information may include:
What you were trying to do
Whether you were buying, sending or receiving FTS
Which step caused the problem
Any error message you received
Whether the transaction was submitted or confirmed
Never post information that could give someone access to your wallet.
Be Careful With Private Messages
Crypto support discussions can attract scammers.
Someone may contact you privately claiming to be:
Fortis support
A wallet technician
A blockchain recovery specialist
An administrator
Someone who can "validate" or "synchronise" your wallet
Be extremely cautious.
Never provide your seed phrase, recovery phrase, private key or wallet password.
You should also be suspicious of websites sent through unsolicited messages asking you to connect or "verify" your wallet.
